Inspired by our luxury line of WaveRunners, the VX Cruiser HO offer an affordable, feature rich and versatile option for those wanting more for less.
Powered by a 1812cc High output engine, the VX Cruiser HO is built for fun and comfort. With a variety of riding controls thanks to RiDEtm and Cruise Assist, navigating waterways is a breeze by setting and holding the perfect speed to minimise wash. Other features include a built-in quick release tow hook, which makes towing set-up more convenient and dual pull-up cleats which wake securing the craft to docks of other vessels easier.

70 Litre Fuel Capacity
Packed with 70 litres of fuel capacity, the VX WaveRunner series mean business. A big fuel tank capacity and exceptional efficiency from the TR-1 engine means you spend less time on land and more time on the water.
High Output Engine
The four-cylinder, 1812cc High Output Yamaha engine and 155mm high-pressure jet pump, deliver the largest water displacement of any craft in its class. This naturally aspirated engine delivers race performance acceleration, high-end speeds, outstanding fuel economy, low noise and reduced emissions.
VX Series Hull and Deck Design
The VX hull features a cutting-edge design with a deeper V-shape Keel, modified hull strakes and softer bow chines, delivering excellent stability for three-up riding and towing, and precise responsiveness and predictability for thrilling one-up riding. *Previous year model shown
Low RPM and Security Remote
Yamaha’s remote transmitter allows the rider to select Low RPM and Security modes. The Low RPM mode limits the top-end speed, improving fuel efficiency, while the Security mode disables the ignition, preventing unauthorised start-ups.
Open Looped Cooling System
All Yamaha WaveRunners utilise open loop cooling, which is used by 99% of marine manufacturers. Open loop systems have been proven to be the most effective, reliable and maintenance free solution for marine environments, which means lower cost of ownership and less time off the water.
Towing Hook
For additional on-water thrills and spills, a strong built-in tow hook allows for the secure towing of inflatable tubes, wake boarders or skiers. *Previous year model shown.

Lightweight NanoXcel Material
Yamaha's NanoXcel® ultra-lightweight, high-strength material reduces the weight of the hull, deck and liner by 25%, delivering improved acceleration, fuel economy, top-end speed and handling. Large 93.2 Litre Storage
The VX WaveRunner series offers a combined 93.1 litres of storage space, including a watertight storage unit under the rear seat, a front hatch and glove compartment. This large storage capacity makes stowing away of safety equipment and the day’s essentials easy and convenient.
RiDE Dual Control System
Yamaha’s patented RiDE is the world's first dual throttle handlebar control system, that makes handling easy, fun and intuitive. Pull the right lever to accelerate and the left lever to decelerate and for reverse. Release both levers, or in any combination, and the system reacts with precise control.
Cruise Assist and No Wake Mode
Cruise Assist allows the rider to set a consistent engine speed, helping to reduce throttle fatigue, improve fuel efficiency and help make longer trips more comfortable. No Wake Mode caps the engine’s RPMs at an optimum idle speed (approx. 8 km/h), for travelling through no-wake zones and other restricted areas.
Multi-Function Cockpit Display
The specially designed digital display meter provides a wide range of information in a clear and easy-to-read format. The tachometer keeps the rider informed about engine RPM, speed and gear selection, while fuel gauge and hour readouts keep track of available running time.
Three Person Cruiser Seat
The theatre-style three-person Cruiser Seat features double top stitching, designed to provide plush accommodations for all-day touring. Separation of the front and rear sections makes maintenance and access to under-seat storage easy.
Integrated Dual Mirrors
Incorporating Yamaha’s trademark compact and edgy design styling, the integrated mirrors not only look good but aid rider visual awareness and safety.
Extended Rear Platform
Roomy and comfortable, the extended rear platform is the ideal place for soaking up the surroundings, getting in and out of the water or simply doing nothing at all. The decking platform is fitted with Hydro-Turf Mats for optimum grip and a reboarding handle to make pulling yourself back on the craft easier.
