In 2021, Yamaha launched the JetFish accessory range, which saw the introduction of the RecDeck - an extended rear recreational platform, and custom JetFish fishing rack. In 2024, Yamaha Motor Australia has taken this JetFish concept to the next level by combining these exclusive factory designed JetFish accessories with the extremely popular FX HO to deliver a complete "turnkey" fishing package.

The new JetFish Equipped FX HO allows you to conveniently enjoy the unique capabilities of WaveRunner fishing including easy single operator launching and retrieval, speed to your fishing location, easy maneuverability, and shallow water access, along with the traditional excitement that comes with riding Yamaha’s legendary FX HO WaveRunner.

A limited number of JetFish Equipped FX HO models are available exclusively through in the state of Victoria.

The 2024 FX HO WaveRunner now comes with Yamaha’s all-new 1.9 Litre High Output marine engine and an upgraded 7-inch (formerly 5-inch) touchscreen, delivering a little bit of luxury and high-end performance, in a highly versatile and practical watercraft.

This model has proven very popular as a fishing platform due to its excellent stability and fuel efficiency. The sturdy and responsive hull and deck provides superb stability and handling in all conditions, while the new larger capacity 1.9 Litre engine, which replaces the former 1.8 Litre High Output marine engine, delivers quicker and smoother acceleration and higher top-end speed.

The FX HO features a new 7-inch infotainment system with a glass colour touchscreen and built-in GPS system*, premium factory-installed audio speakers with smartphone integration, additional Drive Controls with Auto Trim, a large glove box with a built-in light, USB and 12 volt charging ports, a streamlined tilting handlebar with tie hooks, and an extremely comfortable and dry ride.
